Distribution Management Group Inc. (DMG) commenced operations in the warehousing and distribution business in February 1985.
Over the years, DMG has built its reputation and business through outstanding customer service and personal knowledge of its customers’ business needs.
DMG has grown to the size it is today with two warehouse facilities comprising over 658,000 square feet and has become a major provider of warehousing and distribution services, both domestically as well as internationally. DMG also operates a U.S. customs bonded container freight station.
It is necessary for any third party warehouse to have the management depth and operational structure that allows for and promotes consistency of operational practices across all levels of the operation. We have in place an operational management structure that supports individual customers through individual customer service representatives assigned to specific accounts as well as through centralized staff support activities. We have extensive I.T. operation support system design and all our personnel are fully trained in the warehousing of fashion, footwear, apparel, imported specialty food products, and a variety of other commodities. Our personnel are also trained in import, operations, export operations and U.S. Custom requirements in order to expedite the movement of freight to and through our facility.
We have established EDI links and system interface with our customers, affiliates, and associates on many different platforms for multiple applications. These applications include, but aren't limited to, inbound and outbound shipment confirmation as well as ASN data transmission. There are many other services that DMG provides that can be custom tailored to your business needs.
Through our affiliate DMG Logistics Inc., we are on-line with U.S. Customs for paperless entry processing through ABI (Automated Broker Interface) as well as C-TPAT certified.
We have the in house capability to offer our customers the option of our warehouse management system for receiving, packing and shipping goods. We can program all required file interfaces to integrate with our customers' back office applications.
Additionally, our subsidiary companies have their fleet of vehicles specifically designed and routed for the timely collection and delivery of air and ocean freight.
